  1. New Year's Day - Wellie Walk

    1st January 2018

Come and joing us on New Year's Day for a walk in your wellies.

We will meet at the Rooksdown Community Centre. Everyone will be given two wooden stars to write their NY resolution or a memory from 2017.

We will then walk to The Spinney where we will hang one star in a tree, walk back to the Community Centre for a hot drink and then take the other star home to remember what we did.

This process is approved and overseen by the charities commission and ensures that all liabilities and assets are transferred to the new charity.

A new CIO charity has been created with the same name and exactly the same charitable objectives but a new charity number 1174526.

A meeting is called of all voting members of the old charity and will be to:

"Resolve that Rooksdown Communtiy Association (reg charity 1142688) is dissolved and all assets and liabilities transferred to Rooksdown Community Association (reg charity 1174526)."

    To be held on:

    Tuesday 28th November 7.30pm
    at Rooksdown Community Centre

If the resolution is carried a process will be conducted to wind up the old charity and move everything to the new one.

Residents should experience no disruption to services during this process.
