In line with government advice, parish council meetings have been suspended. Our provisional plan is that they will take place by videoconferencing, but we have yet to work out the details.
The government has now postponed the elections for May 2020, so all councillors will remain in post until May 2021
Rooksdown’s parish councillors are elected every 4 years, and 2020 is the year. If you want to stand to be a councillor, you’ll need to be formally nominated and fill in the official election papers in early April.
