Rooksdown Needs Councillors

There is a vacancy for a councillor on Rooksdown Parish Council.

Parish councils are the lowest tier of local government and allow residents a direct say in what happens in their local community.  This is especially important where the community is changing as fast as Rooksdown.  If you would like to help shape our community why not contact me – or any councillor for a chat?

If you’re interested would be really useful if you could come to the online Parish Council meeting on 22 February 2021.  Contact me for details, or check the post below on or after 16 February. We’ll be making a decision at the meeting on 22 March.

Parish Council meetings take place for about 2 hours on the 4th Monday of each month (except August and December) – online during the pandemic. You’ll also need access to email to fulfil the role effectively.

Martin Whittaker, Clerk to Rooksdown Parish Council07928 129122 –
