Andrew Lawrence
Parish Councillor
Andrew moved to Rooksdown with his wife, two children and dog Fang in 2025 and joined the council in January 2026 with the intention of making a positive difference in his new community.
Outside of family life he works as a Chartered Financial Planner for a mutual society and has worked in several positions across London and the South East since leaving university. When he isn’t working he enjoys music, football, cricket, history, film, running, politics and walking the dog.
In addition to his role as councillor he is also Captain of Talk Club Basingstoke which is a charity aimed at helping men with their mental fitness by offering a safe space to chat through any issue they have in their life.
